MyCred4Home: The New European Project Led by IPERIA

Following its commitment to Erasmus+ for education and training, IPERIA is partnering with four European stakeholders, STePS, SEIT Lab, CFB, and GDOCE, to develop micro-credentials in the domestic work sector.

Occupations within this sector represent a significant source of employment due to an aging population. They require mastery of a wide range of specific skills, both technical and interpersonal. Though often transferable and applicable to other sectors, these skills are still poorly recognized and likely inadequately assessed.

Furthermore, some PHS workers come from disadvantaged social groups (job seekers, migrants, etc.) lacking officially recognized qualifications and struggling with low social recognition.

IPERIA supports these groups' social inclusion and professional integration by contributing to the development of micro-credentials in the domestic work sector.


Micro-credentials guide personalized career paths that promote skills recognition, employability, and social inclusion.

While there is not yet a harmonized definition of micro-credentials, according to the European Commission, they are "small learning units" that lead to recognizing skills. They are open to all audiences - including students, job seekers, and employees - and can be combined to earn a diploma or advanced certification.
