For the past 30 years, the professional branch has appointed IPERIA as its competency certification body, as recently reaffirmed in its inter-branch framework agreement of November 17, 2020 on implementing a professional development policy. Innovation, agility, and quality are at the heart of our work and processes in professional certification. From reflection to implementation. From experimentation to deployment. Our commitment: ensuring that current and future workers in the individual employment and domestic work sector have certified professional skills, helping them build, enhance, and secure their career paths.

Designing certifications adapted to occupations

Drawing on its expertise in occupations, active monitoring, and our observation and planning work, our certification engineering team translates occupational requirements into skills frameworks.

It defines certification content and criteria, namely the required skills and knowledge, as well as methods for evaluating their compliance.

This reference framework plays an essential role in any application for professional certification registration with France Compétences, whether for filing with the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) or the Specific Directory (RS). It involves additional steps, coordinated by our teams, before a new recognized certification can be made available to the public.

Our methods and tools adapt to sector specificities, from creating assessment topics to the necessary delivery methods and prerequisites. Because skills and legislative framework evolve, frameworks are periodically reviewed to integrate these changes. The professional branch is fully involved through the Joint Technical Committee for Occupational Monitoring and Skills Anticipation (CTPOPMQ) and the Joint National Employment and Training Committee.

As a skills certifier for the individual employment and domestic work sector, IPERIA was among the first to adopt a pathway approach before the September 5, 2018 law, having transformed our three professional qualifications into skills blocks in 2017.

RNCP VS RS

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES?

The RNCP lists professional certifications that cover the entire scope of a profession. It includes titles and diplomas that certify professional qualifications recognized by the State.

The RS includes certifications and authorizations related to complementary skills.

Certifications serving career advancement in the sector

Designing and organizing certification closely aligned with industry needs

Supporting our local assessors

As a certifier, the question of assessment uniformity is central, especially since we rely on a network of authorized partners across France.

Our process is standardized and qualified accordingly. It is based on four key elements:

  • Developing certification frameworks by our subject matter experts
  • Formalizing and sharing all assessment content
  • Training and supporting jury members throughout their work
  • Constructing assessment tools (jury member guides, evaluation rubrics, etc.)

Facilitating the Candidate Journey

Given our deep understanding of industry realities, we are committed to being accessible and helpful for candidates. From planning the certification juries to issuing the final certificates, our dedicated certification management team supports candidates every step of the way. We adapt to their pace scheduling juries at various points throughout the year to accommodate their needs.

We work toward recognizing candidates' skills and follow up with each of these candidates after the program.
