In the domain of professionalization, the past three decades have been marked by the development and consolidation of innovative systems in both the individual employment and domestic work sector. These advances have focused on occupational observation, skills certification, professional training, and career pathway support. These major steps forward have been built on the foundation of a trusted mandate given to IPERIA, which has served as the sector's operational body since 1999.

Overview of professionalization today

The professional branch of the individual employment and domestic work sector implements an ambitious professionalization policy to promote the attractiveness of careers, ensure the security of employees' professional paths, and combat illegal employment.

In partnership with the professional branch, we innovate to offer adaptable and regularly enhanced professionalization opportunities, serving to promote careers and recognize skills. It currently includes 26 professional certifications (created by our design team) and 130 training courses (designed by the University of Home Care Services).

Building on our expertise, tools, and partner network, we also deploy a 360° support system to drive and support this professionalization dynamic: from career guidance to professional development, including training and certification.

Le saviez-vous

Professionalization is understood as the process of building and developing skills. It goes hand in hand with lifelong professional training that empowers each person, regardless of their status, to acquire and update knowledge and skills fostering their professional development, and to advance by at least one qualification level during their professional career.
