The 3rd edition of "ECO Meetings" organized by the Alençon urban community (CUA) was held on Monday, January 27, at the Anova hall in Alençon. Around 250 local economic stakeholders attended. With 7.9% of the working population, the unemployment rate in the Alençon urban community is lower than the national rate (8.7%). With no fewer than 37 recruitments in 2019 and a current workforce of over 120 employees -- including 70 spread across two sites in Alençon and Valframbert, IPERIA contributes to this local employment dynamism.
In this regard, Baptiste Lenfant, Managing Director, was invited to present the organization with Didier Bourgine and Marcel Reynders, respective leaders of Augros Cosmetic Packaging and Goavec Engineering, two other companies rooted in the region and enjoying national, and even international, influence.
"For 25 years, we have worked toward recognition and enhancement of occupations, activities, and skills at home in the person-to-person employment sector," explained Baptiste Lenfant. "Our expertise lies in skills certification, professional training, and supporting beneficiaries in their training projects (70,000 training starts in 2019)."
