The tablet application and website, designed for employers wishing to build a harmonious relationship with their domestic worker(s), are now available. They are referenced in our article of 18 June 2016, "IPERIA partner of the Professional Branches for the implementation of actions under two national Commitments to Employment and Skills Development, EDEC."
These tools were developed as part of the Commitment to Employment and Skills Development, (EDEC) for autonomy-supporting occupations, signed on 27 March 2014, with the expertise and support of the ministry in charge of employment, the ministry in charge of social affairs, OPCA Agefos-PME and the professional branch of domestic work, in conjunction with the ministry in charge of economy and finance.
IPERIA l'Institut developed tools with the support of the branch.
These tools, intended mainly for individual employers with disabilities, people over 65 years of age, or caregivers, guide them in building better relationships with their domestic workers using recognised techniques (assertiveness, active listening, feedback, etc.).
Navigation within the application is designed to be simple and fluid with two consultation modes:
A Course mode:
To discover the themes at one's own pace, starting with a Gordon test (a test that measures personality in its normal, daily functioning) to identify what type of communicator the individual employer is.
A Game mode:
Based on randomly drawn questions in the application, individual employers can imagine their reactions in everyday situations and discover advice for a harmonious living environment.
