ANAIS Inclusive Enterprise: A Reliable Collaboration
Last Friday in Alençon, we enjoyed sharing a convivial moment with one of our dedicated partners. The inauguration of the new premises of ANAIS Edition & Numérisation establishments brought us together and strengthened our common commitments. We are proud to have worked for more than 10 years with this inclusive enterprise that works for the social inclusion of people with disabilities.

A Symbolic Inauguration

On Friday, November 24, Alain Le Dauphin, Chairman of the Board of Fondation ANAIS, came to inaugurate the new premises of the ESAT and EA Edition & Numérisation in Cerisé, notably in the presence of Joaquim Pueyo, President of the Communauté Urbaine d'Alençon, Sébastien Jallet, Prefect of Orne, Sophie Douvry, Vice-President of the Conseil départemental de l'Orne, and Patrick Cousin, Mayor of Cerisé. As a long-standing partner, we were represented by Baptiste Lenfant, General Delegate of the Groupe Domicile & Compétences—a highly symbolic moment synonymous with resilience after the 2019 fire ravaging the old premises. Cyril Chaigneau, Director of the foundation's professional integration establishments, welcomed this "opportunity to highlight incredible skills." This statement particularly resonates with IPERIA, which has been working to recognize the skills of often underappreciated employees for nearly 30 years. "If I had to summarize our collaboration in three words, it would be loyalty, coherence, and attachment."

A Decade of Collaboration

ANAIS is a medical-social sector foundation that brings together about a hundred establishments in a large northwestern quarter of France. Its mission is to promote personal development, intellectual and physical fulfillment, and social and professional integration of people living with disabilities or dependencies (children, adults, and elderly) and support them throughout their lives. This foundation acts through medical-social sector establishments and socially inclusive businesses.

The ANAIS establishments in the Alençon region comprise several structures with diverse activities (laundry, green spaces, metalwork & welding, industrial subcontracting, premises maintenance, etc.). IPERIA works with the EA ANAIS Edition & Numérisation and has done so for more than 10 years. As an inclusive enterprise, this printing house explicitly employs a majority of people with disabilities (at least 55% of the staff). Its dedicated support fosters the achievement of their professional goals, their advancement, and their mobility within the organization or towards other companies. We are proud to contribute to this effort.

Integration and Inclusion Even in the Hardest Times

Cyril Chaigneau, Director of the foundation's professional integration establishments, emphasizes the "Willingness on both sides, from IPERIA and ANAIS, to work with local partners." A great loyalty binds the two structures: "A few years ago, the establishment burned down, and we had to rebuild everything: the premises and the activity. That's when we opened up to digital printing. This allowed us to have new clients, but some historical ones, like IPERIA, stayed by our side".

"I remember very well the chain of solidarity that was set up when ANAIS premises burned down... The printers agreed to store materials at their facilities and supply us on demand, we also allowed some ANAIS collaborators to carry out their business directly at our premises. Everything was implemented at the local level to maintain their activity. This kindness from everyone reflects the foundation's commitment and that of all their employees to carry out the missions entrusted to them successfully" says Laëtitia Tariel, Marketing and Communication Director of the Domicile & Compétences Group.

United by Commitment to Skills Recognition

In the workshop, about ten collaborators practice different trades: cutting, binding, shipping, or stock management, not to mention warehouse positions. "People with disabilities experience a lot of unemployment; we have little difficulty recruiting. We have a true support vocation and we try to integrate young people. Together, we think about skills development. We also want to develop customer relations," concludes Cyril Chaigneau. A customer relationship that no longer needs to be built with IPERIA after so many years of collaboration. Thank you to them!
