As part of the "Ambition Childhood Equality" plan, IPERIA committed to promoting and supporting training enrollment of childcare providers and childminders in the 28 modules from the branch's priority offer selected by the State in 2020. In this regard, numerous promotional actions are conducted with the network of certified training organizations, institutional partners, referring agencies, and employees. This awareness-raising has already borne fruit as 20,892 training enrollments in these modules were generated in 2021 by 131 training organizations from IPERIA's certified network, with some eligible for the Plan. Ambitions are even more significant for this year. Let's take stock.
Language Takes the Lead
Language, arts and culture, nutrition and relationship with nature, or occasional care are the themes favored by childcare providers and childminders under the national "Ambition Childhood Equality" plan, and they are varied. In the top 5 most attended modules, we find:
Skills that Benefit Everyone
The new skills acquired enrich the daily lives of professionals and the children they care for, as Astrik, a childminder, testifies: "In training, I learned that a child has the right to do nothing and that, just by observing, they learn and mature. Now, I am much less rushed and more patient. If the child just wants to play, I let them. I guide, I direct, but I let them go at their own pace." This confidence spreads to the children and parent employers: "The children love the new recipes I have made for them since the training course. As for the parents, they appreciate my little tips and are very happy to see they have a professional interested in their child's well-being," explains Cyrielle, a childcare provider. Thanks to these additional skills, professionals create a different relationship with parents, establish their expertise, and develop their employability.50,000 Training Enrollments Expected in 2022
"Through their training and qualification, childcare providers and childminders contribute to a fairer and more inclusive society," declares Baptiste Lenfant, Managing Director of IPERIA. In 2022, this virtuous circle intensifies. More committed than ever to giving these professionals the necessary skills for equal opportunities, IPERIA continues its efforts to reach the goal of 50,000 training enrollments in the 27 modules offered in the Plan.
