It's official! France Compétences has just announced the registration in the Specific Directory of 4 skills certificates and one Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP) submitted by IPERIA.
During the redesign of the qualifications "Childcare Provider/Childminder," "Dependency Personal Carer," and "Family Assistant" in 2019, occupational studies revealed skills that needed deepening, were complementary to the professions, or met specific needs. These findings led IPERIA to create five certifications resolutely aligned with the sector's occupational future.
On May 19, 2021, France Compétences validated the registration of these certifications in the Specific Directory for 5 years:
- Certificate "Adapting Home-Based Support for an Elderly Person with Cognitive Disorders"
- Certificate "Adapting Home-Based Support for a Person According to Their Motor Disability"
- Certificate "Adapting Home-Based Support for a Child with Autism Spectrum Disorders"
- Professional Qualification Certificate "Working in Shared Childminding Facilities"
Nadège Turco, Deputy Director of IPERIA, welcomes this good news: "These certificates and this Professional Qualification Certificate open excellent prospects for skills development and professional evolution for sector employees. They should also help attract new profiles. Our role as skills certifier for the professional branches of the individual employment and domestic work sector, serving 1.4 million employees and 3.3 million individual employers, takes on even more meaning."
The "Working in Shared Childminding Facilities" Professional Qualification Certificate will be widely implemented starting in the new academic year. The University of Home Care Services, which designed the training program, along with the network of IPERIA-accredited training organizations, will oversee its establishment across the territory.
