3 Key Figures that Highlight Our European Commitment
As EFFE celebrates its 10th anniversary, we reflect on our European-level commitment as co-founders of the organization. For several decades, IPERIA has been applying the French model of professionalization in the domestic work sector across Europe. Here are some key figures.

13 Partners Across Europe

We collaborate with our neighbors to address key family and household challenges, including support for immigrant women, aging populations, the digital divide, social inclusion, and work-life balance. To tackle these issues, we have broken down barriers in our actions and fostered connections with 13 partners across Europe: Ireland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Spain, and Cyprus. These partnerships enable us to expand our network, combine our expertise, and advocate for greater recognition of family services and employment in the home.

9 Major Projects

With the aim of providing an adapted response to common EU challenges, IPERIA has participated in 9 European projects, including 7 as lead partner. These have allowed us to evolve and advance our expertise. Notable among these is Carer+ (2012-2015), selected in the top 25 most influential European projects in new technologies and active aging. More recently, MiCare (2020-2023), implemented to promote integration through training of immigrant women, is characterized by an individualized pathway specifically designed and built with our partners. As for the ongoing MyCred4Home project, it contributes to developing micro-certifications in the domestic work sector.

2 Major Supporting Actors

To carry out our projects at the European level, we participate in programs established by the EU: Erasmus+ for education, training, youth and sport, and Horizon 2000 for research and innovation. The support of these two key players provides funding and grants for our projects. This funding is given for 2 to 3 years and facilitates the launch of different stages: preliminary study phase, tool development, and experimentation.
