The individual employment and domestic work sector must face population aging as well as numerous employee retirements. IPERIA is committed to serving as the branch's certifying body for skills, dedicated to promoting and advancing professions within the sector. Our expertise and action have just been highlighted in the "VEGÂA" guide dedicated to aging care and dependency, published by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
A guide for professionals and the general public
Nouvelle Aquitaine is the 3rd most populated region in France and the 2nd region with the highest aging index. In this context of high demand, the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and its partners have initiated the publication of the VEGÂA guide, "Enhancement of aging care and autonomy employment", which is primarily aimed at guidance professionals, prescribers, and employers but also the general public.
This guide aims to raise awareness and facilitate access to more than 50 existing programs in the region in the field of employment and training for these professions. It brings together financial solutions, technical support, operational levers, practical tools, etc.
Some tools designed and supported by IPERIA are among the cited programs. We are proud to thus contribute to the enhancement of professions related to loss of autonomy as well as the professionalization of (future) employees.
Guidance, funding, and support: our 360-degree expertise
Three programs supported by IPERIA are therefore referenced in this guide:
- The Sector-specific career guidance and development consulting (COEPS) which allows future entrants into the individual employment and domestic work sector or employees in career transition to define a professional project and find the right profession. For those already in the sector, this personalized support offers a perspective for skill development to be better integrated into the profession, progress in the field, or even change careers.
- The Skills Development Plan which gives childcare providers, childminders, personal carers, and family assistants the possibility of having 58 hours per year for training. This program marks the commitment of the professional branch of individual employment and domestic work and IPERIA to recognize the professions and skills of sector professionals.
- The Personal Carers' Centers (RAVie) which facilitate networking among personal carers, allow professionals to break their isolation and strengthen their knowledge and practice of the profession. They are organized in cycles of 3 to 6 months, and each cycle includes 5 three-hour training sessions. Participation is covered under the skills development plan.
Thank you to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region for its renewed trust, following the recent signing of a tripartite regional agreement alongside France Travail and FEPEM.
