Agreement between IPERIA, France Travail and FEPEM in Nouvelle Aquitaine
On Friday, February 2, in Bordeaux, IPERIA signed a regional agreement in Nouvelle Aquitaine with France Travail and FEPEM. This is the fourth tripartite agreement, following those contracted with the same partners in La Réunion, Hauts-de-France, and Île-de-France. The objectives remain unchanged: to support domestic work and respond to individual employers' needs. IPERIA plays a key role in promoting the recognition, professionalization, and attractiveness of sector professions.

Strategic axes in a context of high demand

Projections indicate a deficit of 800,000 positions* in the individual employment and domestic work sector by 2030. Concrete responses to tomorrow's challenges must be provided to map out trajectories for the 1.3 million domestic employees who support 3.3 million individual employers at home.

The agreements between IPERIA, France Travail and FEPEM create synergy between actors with a common interest.

The latest agreement, signed on February 2 in Bordeaux by Nadège Turco, Deputy Director of IPERIA, Evelyne Deyre, President of FEPEM Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and Alain Mauny, Regional Director of France Travail, is organized around 3 axes:
  • Stronger mutual knowledge and support for France Travail teams to meet sector needs;
  • Information and support for individual employers;
  • Promotion of professions and support for the professionalization of job seekers.
Nouvelle Aquitaine is France's 3rd most populated region and the 2nd region with the highest aging index. These figures present opportunities for early childhood, dependency care, and family assistants, as reminded by Marielle Brouard, President of the Joint National Employment and Vocational Training Committee (CPNEFP) of the professional branch and Vice-President of the FEPEM Nouvelle-Aquitaine delegation, during her speech.

IPERIA's role in supporting (future) employees

As a key player in professionalizing the domestic work sector, IPERIA mobilizes its teams and expertise to make the field more attractive.

Its professionalization policy is implemented through certifications that enable "the recognition of skills and professions," as Nadège Turco reminded, adding that "professionalization contributes to retention." In a unique sector, tailored tools must be offered: "Our extreme specificity implies creating our own certifications. And because it's not easy to guide people toward our sector, we have implemented the COEPS" specified IPERIA's Deputy Director.

Concrete actions supporting domestic work

Each new partnership signed is followed by initiatives to support job seekers. For example, in Nouvelle Aquitaine, IPERIA teams have presented our certifications and Sector-specific Career Guidance and Development Consulting (COEPS) services.

About twenty people were able to discover this tailored support, provided over time throughout the pathway of (future) employees, to more efficiently and successfully cross each stage of professionalization in the individual employment and domestic work sector.
