2017 Review of the Domestic Work Professionalization Policy
For nearly 25 years, IPERIA has supported the professional branches representing childcare providers and employees of individual employers in implementing their occupational professionalization policies.

In a sector encompassing 3.4 million individual employers, 1.4 million employees, 1.6 billion declared work hours, and 8.7 billion euros in total payroll, training and certification are key factors in the employability and recognition of these occupations.

In 2017, IPERIA supported over 42,000 training enrollments through a network of over 230 training organizations holding the IPERIA certification issued by the branches. More than 2,400 candidates appeared before a certification jury to obtain a Level V qualification in "Childcare Provider/Childminder," "Dependency Personal Carer," or "Family Assistant." The success rate is 68%.

IPERIA emphasizes individual support for training enrollment through a telephone platform (32,500 incoming/outgoing calls) and a website promoting training programs, www.iperia.eu (165,000 visits in 2017). In 2017, IPERIA launched a specialized CV creation tool for domestic workers. The tool aims to help sector employees and job seekers better showcase their skills and enhance their employability.

This would not have been possible without all the partners working on this issue daily: RAM, Departmental Councils, Regional Councils, IRCEM, CAF, PMI, Individual Employment Centers, AGEFOS PME, Employment Office, cities, DIRECCTE, FEPEM, and social partners.
