Report on the 2015 Priority Professionalization Policy for Childcare Providers
For over twenty years, IPERIA l'Institut has supported the Professional branch of childcare providers employed by individual employers in its approach to professionalizing careers. In a sector representing 1.1 million individual employers, 346,285 childcare providers, 1.2 billion declared hours, and 3.9 billion euros in payroll, training and certification are key factors for employability and professional recognition.

In 2015, IPERIA l'Institut supported 17,348 training enrollments for childcare providers (+30%) through 272 accredited training providers. 713 "Childcare provider/Childminder" certifications were issued, either through long-term training (404) or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (309), with a success rate of 79%.

IPERIA l'Institut emphasizes individual support for childcare providers starting training programmes through a telephone platform (36,200 incoming/outgoing calls in 2015) and a website promoting training courses, www.iperia.eu (421,868 page views in 2015).

This would not have been possible without all the partners who work on this subject daily: childminders' Centres (RAM), Departmental Councils, Regional Councils, IRCEM Group, Family Allowance Fund (CAF), Maternal and Infant Protection (PMI), France Domestic Employment centres, AGEFOS PME, Job Centres (Pôle Emploi), cities, Regional Directorates for Enterprise, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment (DIRECCTE), Fepem, and social partners.
