As the skills-certifying body for professions in the individual employment and domestic work sector, we deploy technical tools and mobilize volunteers to participate in our juries. Our objective: to meticulously evaluate the skills of (future) sector employees and support them towards professionalization.

A scrupulous evaluation of skills

To validate the professional qualifications or skills certificates of (future) employees, we have implemented pathways comprising 5 evaluation methods that we deploy with the support of training organizations accredited by IPERIA:
  • Digital situation studies to identify the candidate's professional skills by evaluating their analytical and reasoning capabilities when faced with a contextualized employment situation. The digital format allows for a variety of candidate actions, who may encounter text, images, videos, or other audio excerpts to create situations that closely reflect field realities.
  • A practical assessment, which offers a reconstruction of field reality, focusing on very "practical" themes: assistance with personal hygiene, laundry care, ironing, etc. The objective is to observe how the person organizes the session, their gestures, methods, products used, etc.
  • Written and oral situation studies. The written or oral format allows for free expression from the candidate, enabling them to showcase all their analytical and reasoning capabilities.
  • The jury presentation: the final step that allows for the certification of acquired skills and evaluates social and transversal skills inherent to our sector: autonomy, organization, and relational capacity.

A multitude of examinations and evaluation scenarios

Over the years, since 2016, our engineering service has created numerous examinations in various forms: more than 10,000 in total. Their objective is to evaluate (future) employees and lead them towards obtaining a professional qualification or skills certificate. These examinations are: practical assessments, written and oral situation studies, digital situation studies. This colossal database enables countless combinations and scenarios for evaluating candidates.

A solid network of jury members

The jury presentation is the final step in the professionalization pathway of (future) employees. These juries could not take place without the involvement of volunteer jury members, who are employees or individual employers. On average, 130 have accompanied us every year since 2009. To accomplish their task, they receive constant support from our teams and more specifically from skill-assessment officers.

This management of a jury member network is an additional expertise provided by IPERIA. It guarantees the professionalism of our role as skills certifiers for professions in the individual employment and domestic work sector.
