Report on the 2015 Priority Professionalization Policy for Domestic Employees
For over 20 years, IPERIA l'Institut has supported the professional branch of individual employment and domestic work in its approach to professionalizing careers. In a sector that represents 2.4 million individual employers, 1.2 million domestic employees for 510.3 million declared hours and 4.9 billion euros in payroll, training and certification represent key factors for employability and recognition of professions.

In 2015, IPERIA l'Institut supported 8,504 training enrollments for domestic employees through a network of 272 accredited training providers. 2,907 "Childcare provider/Childminder", "Family assistant", and "Personal carer" certifications were issued, either through long-term training (2,479) or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (428), with a success rate of 74%.

IPERIA l'Institut emphasizes individual support for domestic employees starting training programmes through a telephone platform (36,200 incoming/outgoing calls in 2015) and a website promoting training courses: www.iperia.eu (421,868 page views in 2015).

This would not have been possible without all the partners who work on this subject daily: childminders' Centres (RAM), Departmental Councils, Regional Councils, IRCEM Group, Family Allowance Fund (CAF), Maternal and Infant Protection (PMI), France Domestic Employment centres, AGEFOS PME, Job Centres (Pôle Emploi), cities, Regional Directorates for Enterprise, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment (DIRECCTE), Fepem, and social partners.
