Creation of Specific Training Courses to Support Domestic Work Professionals During the Health Crisis
May 28, 2020 - Facing this unprecedented health crisis, domestic work professionals expressed a strong need for training in practices and behaviors to adopt for safe work continuation, following government hygiene measures.

Training Adapted to Different Sector Occupations

Focused on hygiene and safety practices, this training considers sector employees' unique situations—working for multiple employers, frequent travel, and supporting vulnerable people. It offers educational content adapted to personal carers, childcare providers, childminders, and family assistants, notably through professional situation exercises.

The training covers four themes:
  • Crisis situational context
  • Preparing home interventions and automating protective measures
  • Appropriate occupation-specific behaviors
  • Communication with individual employer and/or family

100% Remote Module Allowing Complete Employee Autonomy

To enable all sector employees to train from home, the one-hour training is accessible on an online platform: https://www.iperia.eu/gestes-postures-a-adopter-reprise-toute-serenite/

Partner training organizations nationwide offer a more advanced three-hour training combining distance learning and remote training.

A toll-free number, 0 800 820 920, provides personalized support to individual employers and employees in identifying the most suitable pathway for their situation and occupation.

These training courses are available under the skills development plan, outside the annual 58-hour quota available to each employee without seniority or minimum weekly working hours conditions. These allow salary continuation if training is undertaken during working hours, or the payment of a training allowance for training outside working hours, in accordance with joint training agreements.
